Lincoln is a luxury automotive brand under the American carmaker Ford Motor Company. Founded in 1917 by Henry Leland, the brand is named after U.S. President Abraham Lincoln. Since 1939, when President Franklin D. Roosevelt chose it as the White House's official state car, Lincoln has been known for its outstanding performance, elegant styling, and unparalleled comfort. One of its most iconic vehicles was the parade car used by President John F. Kennedy.
