Wuling Starlight L to Launch on July 16! Plug-in Hybrid Mid-Size SUV with 1,260 km Range

Wuling Starlight L will officially launch on July 16 and is now accepting pre-orders. It will be offered in three trims, with a pre-order price range of ¥122,800–¥142,800; the pre-order promotional pricing is ¥117,800–¥137,800.

This mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV measures 4,980 × 1,930 × 1,760 mm (L×W×H) with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. Externally, it features standard AGS active grille shutters, LED headlights (low/high beam), and multiple intelligent lighting functions. The interior offers two color options — Sand-Terracotta Brown and Cloud-Glazed White. The Flagship trim includes an 8.8-inch full-digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch 2K central touchscreen, running the Lingyu intelligent OS (8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage).

The powertrain combines a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine (max output: 78 kW, peak torque: 130 N·m) and a front-mounted permanent-magnet synchronous motor (max output: 170 kW, peak torque: 280 N·m), paired with an E-CVT transmission. Its CLTC fuel consumption in charge-sustaining mode is 4.9 L/100 km; 0–100 km/h acceleration takes 8.2 seconds, and top speed reaches 190 km/h. Equipped with a 37.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate Shenlian battery, it delivers a CLTC all-electric range of 260 km and a combined range of 1,260 km.
