GEELY Automobile recently unveiled official images of the Geely MonjaroL PLUS via its official social media channels and announced the vehicle's global premiere on September 5, 2026. Positioned as a new, upgraded variant within the Geely MonjaroL lineup, the model is officially defined as a "mid-to-heavy-duty flagship smart hybrid SUV." Its overall dimensions exceed those of the current Geely MonjaroL, marking an upward repositioning in the segment.

The official images reveal that the Geely MonjaroL PLUS retains the brand's family design language. Its front fascia features a large vertical-slat air intake grille, complemented by abundant chrome trim along the front bumper and grille edges — creating a strong, premium visual presence. Additional details — including the D-pillar badge, factory-fitted roof rails, conventional door handles, and chrome accents around side windows, side mirrors, and side skirts — further reinforce its flagship-level visual identity and refined craftsmanship.

The profile is elongated and stately, with overall dimensions of 4,955 × 1,960 × 1,769 mm and a wheelbase of 2,900 mm — noticeably extended over the current Geely MonjaroL and now squarely within the mainstream mid-to-heavy-duty SUV size bracket. Two wheel options are offered: 20-inch and 21-inch alloys, including a substantial, premium-looking "pancake"-style design.

The rear adopts highly recognizable full-width taillights, with softer, more rounded contours than those on the Geely MonjaroL. Larger chrome trim areas adorn the tailgate and lower bumper, elevating the overall sense of luxury and maturity. Notably, both the official images and recent MIIT regulatory filings confirm the inclusion of LiDAR — suggesting a significant upgrade to its intelligent driving system, potentially enabling high-level urban NOA (Navigation-assisted Driving) functionality.

Powertrain options include both conventional gasoline and hybrid variants. The gasoline version is powered by a 2.0T engine delivering a maximum output of 213 kW, with a top speed of 210 km/h and a WLTC combined fuel consumption of 7.97–8.15 L/100 km. The hybrid variant pairs a dedicated 2.0T hybrid engine with a 3DHT dedicated hybrid transmission; the engine produces up to 160 kW and enables a top speed of 190 km/h, prioritizing efficiency and energy savings. Interior official images have not yet been released, and final specifications and pricing will be revealed at the official launch event on September 5.
