Chery Fengyun T7 Pre-orders Open: 600 km CLTC All-Electric Range, Starting at RMB 109,900

On August 12, Chery's NEV brand Fulwin officially announced the launch of pre-orders for its all-new compact battery electric vehicle (BEV) SUV — the Fulwin T7. The model will be offered in three trim levels, with pre-order prices ranging from RMB 109,900 to RMB 129,900, and is scheduled to hit the market by late August.

According to official information, the Fulwin T7 is fully electric, powered by a single motor delivering a maximum output of 178 kW and peak torque of 275 N·m. It pairs with a 65.05 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, achieving a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 600 km. Its suspension system features MacPherson struts up front and a multi-link setup at the rear — balancing ride comfort and handling responsiveness.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,570 mm × 1,852 mm × 1,694 mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm, positioning it squarely in the standard compact SUV segment. Its exterior adopts a closed front grille design, complemented by slim LED headlights and an "E-PERFORMANCE" badge; multiple character lines on the hood enhance its sporty appeal. Side profile features conventional door handles and chrome window trim, paired with glossy black multi-spoke alloy wheels. At the rear, a full-width taillight and roof-mounted spoiler add visual depth and dynamism.

The interior centers around an enveloping cockpit layout, featuring an 8.8-inch full-digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch 2.5K floating central touchscreen, powered by the 8775 cockpit chip and supporting multiple smartphone connectivity protocols. Standard and optional equipment includes heated and ventilated front seats, a SONY audio system, wireless phone charging, rear air-conditioning vents, and a segmented panoramic sunroof with a physical sunshade.

In the competitive landscape, the Fulwin T7 will go head-to-head with peers such as Deepal S05, NEVO Q05, and BYDYuan PLUS. Among them, Deepal S05 maintains strong consumer trust and leads the family-oriented commuter segment; NEVO Q05 emphasizes intelligent driving credentials via lidar and full-stack ADAS; while Yuan PLUS continues to dominate sales charts thanks to balanced product strength and extensive distribution channels. Amid this multi-front competition, whether the Fulwin T7 can carve out differentiation through its 600 km range and aggressive starting price of RMB 109,900 remains to be seen — final pricing and real-world delivery performance will be key determinants.
