All-New BMW X5 M60 to Feature 4.4L Twin-Turbo V8 Engine!

The all-new BMW X5 M60 is scheduled for official launch in 2027 and will be powered by a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, with peak output potentially reaching 448 kW and peak torque of 800 N·m.

Meanwhile, BMW will continue advancing its high-performance plug-in hybrid strategy — the new X5 M is expected to adopt a plug-in hybrid system combining a V8 engine and electric motor, delivering a combined maximum output of up to 535 kW. Note that all current information remains at the planning stage; final technical specifications and production timelines have not yet been officially confirmed.
