Globally, Kia sold 295,720 units in June 2026 and 1,630,988 units in H1 2026 — up 2.7% year-on-year.

By individual model, KIA Sportage and KIA Seltos led global sales with 303,203 and 177,148 units respectively — ranking first and second within the Kia brand portfolio. Notably, the newly launched New KIA Sportage — unveiled in April 2026 — builds on 33 years and five generations of Sportage engineering heritage. As the globally acclaimed 'Urban SUV pioneer' with over 8 million cumulative sales, it delivers multi-dimensional upgrades in styling, interior space, intelligent tech, and safety features. Its 'Refreshed Flat Pricing' starts at RMB 109,900; the best-selling 1.5T Premium trim is priced at RMB 124,900 — featuring 13 key equipment enhancements over the previous generation.

On the marketing front, Kia has leveraged World Cup momentum with a limited-time campaign: customers who test-drive at dealerships before July 31 can enter a draw to win up to RMB 5,000 toward vehicle purchase, plus an exclusive Kia × World Cup × Adidas co-branded merchandise set. Sharing test-drive experiences also entitles participants to a limited-edition official football.

Additionally, buyers of the three 'Flat-Priced' models — New KIA Sportage, K3, and KIA KX1 — receive a RMB 2,500 purchase tax subsidy. Eligible groups — including university graduates, newlyweds, new parents, teachers, healthcare workers, and media professionals — qualify for an extra RMB 2,000 fuel or EV charging card.
