First to feature AI companion robot and AMS multimodal perception system; pre-orders open August 18

Recently, the interior design of the Epicland X9 was officially unveiled. As the first model equipped with Huawei's next-generation HarmonySpace6 intelligent cockpit, it has drawn attention for its full-scenario interaction, immersive audiovisual experience, and human-centered spatial layout. Pre-orders will open on August 18, 2026, with mass production and delivery expected in Q3 2026.

HUAWEI HarmonySpace Debut: Butterfly-Wing Dual Display + Full-Stack AI Interaction

The Epicland X9 features a center console with two 17.2-inch dual 3.4K-resolution butterfly-wing displays, delivering exceptional sharpness and color fidelity. The cabin offers five customizable color schemes — Dawn White, Youth Apricot, Rosy Orange, Warm Glow Brown, and Dusk Cloud Purple — and uses premium Nappa leather with diamond-quilted stitching across large surface areas. All high-contact zones are 100% soft-trimmed and certified to OEKO-TEX's highest standard.

The vehicle debuts the XiaoYi intelligent agent built on the MoLA 2.0 architecture — a full-scenario conversational AI assistant capable of fuzzy semantic understanding and chat-style navigation. It also integrates the HUAWEI XSCENE LCoS in-vehicle laser projection system, HUAWEI SOUND audio system, microphone-free karaoke, and tuning Beijing X6 functionality. Additional premium touches include starry ambient lighting, crystal rotary knobs, four power-operated doors, and an integrated hidden electric welcome step — blending ceremony with practicality.

In-Cabin AI Safety & Human-Centered Spatial Experience

The Epicland X9 is equipped with the AMS in-cabin AI multimodal perception system, comprising an 8-megapixel RGB HD camera, a 2-megapixel infrared camera, and high-precision StarFlash sensors. It reliably detects occupant status under varied lighting conditions and partial occlusion, enabling child/pet left-behind alerts, hazardous motion warnings, and proactive anti-pinch protection inside the cabin.

Notably, the vehicle introduces the world's first AI companion robot 'HAMOMO', which responds to facial expressions for wake-up, listening, and execution — and can be carried off-vehicle to enhance family travel companionship.

Seating features dual zero-gravity seats with three massage modes — airbag, mechanical, and actuator-based — covering 14 zones across shoulders, back, and lumbar regions using biomimetic mapping. Its digital rhythm function synchronizes with music tempo and zero-gravity mode for an integrated audio-physical relaxation experience.

Space & Range: Practical Upgrades for a 6-Seat Full-Size SUV

The Epicland X9 delivers 3,294 mm of longitudinal interior space. The second row is ergonomically optimized, while the third row adopts a VIP chair design with a maximum recline angle of 133° and a seat cushion width of 1,101 mm. A massive 1,500 cm² corner window and reduced side-window inclination further enhance openness and light penetration. Six preset seating modes support solo napping, family lounging, dual-person SPA, private cinema, camping bed, and full-capacity travel.

For cargo capacity: 484 L remains available with all six seats occupied; expanding to 1,368 L with only four occupants. The vehicle includes 43 dedicated storage compartments. MOFs cabin air filters and negative-ion fresh-air systems achieve >99% inhibition rates against bacteria, influenza A virus, and coronaviruses, with PM2.5 filtration efficiency also exceeding 99%.

Per MIIT official filings, the Epicland X9 will be powered by a 1.5T range-extender powertrain — with the range extender rated at 95 kW — paired with a 51.46 kWh battery pack, offering CLTC all-electric ranges of 217 km and 229 km depending on configuration.
