Recently, Deepal S05 launched the Deepal OS 3.2 over-the-air (OTA) update. This release spans five major modules — advanced driver assistance, intelligent cockpit, app ecosystem, security & privacy, and smart apps — introducing or refining more than 20 features. The update is delivered to already-delivered vehicles, requiring no hardware modifications to elevate overall intelligent vehicle experience.

Significantly Enhanced Smart Parking Capabilities
In parking scenarios, Deepal OS 3.2 adds several practical functions: automatic front-end parking, one-touch vertical-space exit; new common wake words like "park" for more natural voice response; real-time voice and UI feedback during parking; user-defined favorite parking spots with one-tap recall; and — most notably — a safety-first design where opening a door mid-parking automatically pauses execution, balancing safety and operational flexibility.
For driving safety, the system introduces Low-Speed Automatic Emergency Braking (LAEB): when traveling at low speeds, the system actively applies braking if it detects an imminent frontal collision, boosting passive safety redundancy in urban traffic jams and parking lots.
Cockpit Interaction and Ecosystem Fully Evolved

On the intelligent cockpit front, the new OS strengthens multimodal interaction: navigation now supports voice-based destination changes; video apps (e.g., iQIYI) enable dual control via steering-wheel buttons and voice commands; HiCar and CarLink screen-mirroring now feature quick-access voice triggers on the steering wheel; the home screen supports shortcut cards for frequently used apps; and the newly launched "Link Elf" function lets users control their vehicle via WeChat voice commands , share live locations, and get instant answers to vehicle-related questions — blurring the line between social messaging and in-car services.
Additionally, the AI Art Studio app debuts with this OTA, enabling users to freely customize themes, wallpapers, and interface animations. Gaode Maps gains red-light countdown display and blind-spot intersection warnings — further enhancing navigation utility.
Complementary Mobile App Upgrades Fill Key Use Cases
The companion Deepal mobile app also receives a concurrent update: it now supports Farizon keyless driving — including keyless entry, one-button start, Farizon-authorized driving for others, and emergency unlocking; Bluetooth diagnostics automatically run digital key health checks when Bluetooth key connectivity fails, offering visual guidance and recovery steps; and the "Close-and-Park" card displays real-time activation status — reducing user learning curves.

Notably, this OTA also improves dashcam U-disk expansion support: users can plug in external USB drives to increase storage capacity and directly access recorded videos on PCs. Fatigue alert logic and privacy permission management have likewise been fine-tuned — striking a balance between convenience and data security.
