Deepal S05 2026 Model Official Interior Images Released: Equipped with LiDAR, Nebula Purple Interior Unveiled

New high-end intelligent driving hardware and exclusive color scheme; maximum all-electric range reaches 620 km

On July 23, Deepal Automobile officially released official interior images of the 2026 model Deepal S05. As a facelift of the current compact SUV, the new model features iterative upgrades across design language, smart features, and powertrain — potentially strengthening its competitiveness in the mainstream RMB 100,000–150,000 all-electric SUV segment.

Inside, the 2026 Deepal S05 adopts an all-new two-tone 'Nebula Purple' color scheme — darker upper section, lighter lower section — and incorporates chrome trim accents on door panels, air vents, and dashboard edges, significantly elevating perceived quality over the current model. The cabin features a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, column-mounted gear shifter, and a floating central touchscreen, delivering a strong tech-oriented ambiance. Notably, the traditional digital instrument cluster has been replaced by a standard head-up display (HUD). The center console integrates wireless phone charging and a horizontal dual cup holder, further enhancing practicality.

Exterior styling retains Deepal's family 'Symbiotic Aesthetics' design, now refined with the 'Interstellar Wing' design language. The front end features an updated closed grille and finely detailed LED lighting units, plus a dedicated small blue indicator light for driver-assistance systems. All variants come standard with LiDAR sensors, paired with advanced perception hardware — potentially enabling higher-level urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) functionality. Production images show frameless doors, semi-concealed door handles, and newly styled 18-inch alloy wheels, alongside optional features including power tailgate and a 1.9 m² panoramic sunroof.

For power and range, the all-electric version continues using the XTDM67 permanent-magnet synchronous rear motor, delivering peak output of 272 hp. Two battery options are offered — the 56.12 kWh and 68.82 kWh JINZHONGZHAO battery packs supplied by CATL — yielding CLTC all-electric ranges of 520 km and 620 km respectively. Meanwhile, the existing extended-range variant is expected to remain available: powered by a 1.5L engine (98 hp) and a drive motor (238 hp), paired with a 28.39 kWh JINZHONGZHAO battery pack, offering 215 km CLTC all-electric range and 1,310 km total range.

Currently, the existing Deepal S05 lineup comprises seven trims priced between RMB 119,900 and RMB 149,900. Pricing, launch timing, and full specification details for the 2026 model have not yet been announced and await official disclosure.
