September New Car Launch Wave: Xiaomi Pengcheng N70/N90, BYDSealion 08, and Others Debut En Masse

As the traditional peak sales season — 'Golden September and Silver October' — approaches, September 2026 will see a high-density wave of new car launches. According to multiple sources, over a dozen key models — including the Xiaomi Pengcheng N70 and N90, BYDSealion 08, Luxceed RX, Aistaland GT7, Epicland X9, Li i9, and the all-new Li MEGA — are expected to launch or begin deliveries this month. Notably, BYDSealion 08 and the new Li MEGA have confirmed launch dates of September 2nd; the rest are marked 'expected within September' or 'late September', and remain in pre-order or regulatory approval stages.

Worth noting is that most of these new models are positioned as mid-size or larger SUVs, targeting family mobility and multi-scenario usage. Powertrains span plug-in hybrid (PHEV), extended-range electric vehicle (EREV), and battery electric vehicle (BEV) architectures. All feature high-end intelligent driving hardware as standard — lidar adoption approaches 100%, with Xiaomi Pengcheng, Luxceed RX, Aistaland GT7, Epicland X9, and the new Li MEGA each equipped with a quad-lidar setup. Intelligent cockpits commonly integrate Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8650 or Huawei's in-house chip, while next-generation OS platforms — including HUAWEI HarmonySpace6, HyperOS, and MoLA 2.0 — are rolling out across the board.

On specs, range and charging performance continue to break new ground: the BEV variant of BYDSealion 08 achieves a CLTC all-electric range of 900 km; Aistaland GT7 and Epicland X9 deliver combined ranges exceeding 1,500 km and support 30–80% fast charging in under 10 minutes; Xiaomi Pengcheng N70 and N90 offer CLTC all-electric ranges of 505 km and 464 km respectively, with 20–80% fast charging completed in just 18 minutes; and the single-motor Luxceed RX reaches up to 822 km on the CLTC cycle, while its dual-motor version hits 852 km. In terms of performance, the Epicland X9 AWD variant delivers a combined output of 420 kW and sprints 0–100 km/h in 5.1 seconds; Aistaland GT7's tri-motor system outputs up to 550 kW; Li i9 delivers 400 kW combined; and the new Li MEGA sees its combined power upgraded to 413 kW.
