Geely Automobile recently unveiled the teaser image of its all-new flagship sedan — the Preface L (internal codename FS21) — set to officially debut on July 10. As an extended and upgraded version of the current Preface, the new model is positioned as a 5-meter mid-to-large-size sedan, with reported dimensions of 4956 × 1915 × 1505 mm and a wheelbase of 2845 mm — 131 mm longer, 35 mm wider, and 35 mm taller than the overseas-spec Preface.

The vehicle will offer both gasoline and hybrid powertrains: The gasoline variant features a 1.5T (148 kW) or 2.0T (200 kW) engine; the hybrid version adopts Geely's latest i-HEV system, pairing a 1.5L engine (120 kW) with an electric drive unit, delivering a combined output of up to 175 kW and achieving a WLTC combined fuel consumption as low as 3.98 L/100 km (≈4 L/100 km). Additionally, the Preface L will offer an optional roof-mounted LiDAR — likely supporting the G-Pilot H5 intelligent driving system, powered by dual NVIDIA Orin-X chips for a total computing capacity of 508 TOPS, enabling G3-level autonomy and highway NOA functionality. The model is expected to retain the Preface's global vehicle positioning and may be exported overseas.
