On July 17, Avatr officially announced the pre-order launch of its all-new large five-seat midsize SUV — the Avatr 07 L. The vehicle will be offered in two trims, with pre-order prices set at ¥249,900 and ¥279,900 respectively. As an extended and upgraded version of the AVATR 07, its wheelbase has increased from 2,940 mm to 2,990 mm, while overall dimensions reach 4,910 × 1,980 × 1,650 (1,670) mm — further reinforcing its emphasis on spaciousness and premium appeal. The model is scheduled to officially launch on August 8.

Design Upholds Future Aesthetics, Tech Details Fully Upgraded

The Avatr 07 L continues the "Future Elegance" design language, featuring a disc-wing front fascia and minimalist grille-less styling, complemented by slender LED headlamps on both sides for strong visual recognition. Five exterior colors are available: Desert White, Ink Black, Rock Gray, Star Purple, and Crescent Silver. Its fluid body lines, fastback roofline, and wide fenders convey dynamic athleticism; flush-mounted door handles and electronic side mirrors further enhance its tech-forward character. At the rear, a sharp V-shaped rear window pairs with a full-width taillight, plus a large roof-mounted spoiler.

Dual-Track Strategy: Smart Cockpit & Powertrain

The interior retains the same layout as the AVATR 07, featuring a 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen, a 35.4-inch panoramic star-ring display, and dual 6.7-inch digital rearview mirrors. Rear passengers gain a new touch-control panel, while widened headrests and shoulder supports improve ride comfort. The vehicle is equipped with an 896-line LiDAR sensor — forming the hardware foundation for the HUAWEI Qiankun ADS intelligent driving system.

Powertrain options include extended-range and pure-electric variants. The extended-range version uses a 1.5T range extender (max output 110 kW); the single-motor variant delivers up to 231 kW, while the tri-motor version offers outputs of 131 kW / 200 kW / 200 kW. Battery packs are sized at 39.05 kWh and 52.01 kWh, delivering CLTC all-electric ranges of 197 km / 240 km / 270 km respectively. Pure-electric versions offer a single-motor output of 305 kW or a tri-motor configuration of 210 kW / 251 kW / 251 kW, paired with an 87.301 kWh battery pack — achieving CLTC all-electric ranges of 650 km and 725 km.

Clear Competitive Positioning, Intelligence as Key Differentiator

The Avatr 07 L adopts dual powertrain strategies — pure electric and extended-range — targeting distinct segments: the EV variant competes directly with peers like Xiaomi YU7 from new-energy startups, while the extended-range version goes head-to-head with LUXEED R7. Its key differentiators lie in the HUAWEI Qiankun ADS intelligent driving system, HarmonyOS-powered smart cockpit, and integrated CATL battery ecosystem — combined with a stronger focus on youthfulness and personalization, positioning it for unique competitiveness in its segment.
