Recently, Nissan officially released the official images of its updated Note lineup. As the 2026 model-year refresh, the new Note focuses on refined exterior details, upgraded interior materials, and expanded equipment — introducing the Black Editions package for the first time to reinforce its personalized and sportier positioning. The series has already launched in the Japanese market, with a starting price of ¥2,399,100JPY (approximately ¥101,500 RMB).
Exterior updates include color-matched treatment for previously chrome-plated elements — including the front grille trim, door handles, and window frame moldings — delivering a cleaner, more cohesive look. The Black Limited variant features a two-tone body, fully blacked-out grille, Nissan badge, and side mirror housings, plus sporty hood decals and an exclusive Black Edition badge embedded in the lower-right corner of the grille. The flagship Note Aura Nismo Black Limited adds a full Nismo aerodynamic kit — including front lip spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler, and rear diffuser — along with suspension and steering system tuning for sharper cornering response and improved handling stability.
Inside, all trims now feature TailorFit synthetic leather upholstery, offering enhanced tactile quality and durability. Front seats come standard with power adjustment and heating. Mid- and higher-spec models add a 360-degree surround-view camera, Bose Plus premium audio system, and ProPilot driver assistance system — covering core active safety and intelligent driving functions.
The powertrain retains the current e-POWER architecture, combining a 1.2L three-cylinder gasoline engine (acting solely as a generator) with an electric motor driving the front wheels. The engine delivers a maximum output of 82 hp. Front-motor output is tiered: 116 hp for the standard Note and 136 hp for the Note Aura. The all-wheel-drive version adds a 68-hp rear motor, enabling electronically controlled on-demand AWD functionality.
