All-New KIA Seltos by Kia Launches August 26 — Starting at RMB 80,900

Recently, Kia officially announced that its all-new global compact SUV — the all-new KIA Seltos — will launch on August 26, 2026. Pre-sales have already commenced, with a pre-order price range of RMB 80,900–120,900. As a strategic model targeting global markets, the all-new KIA Seltos delivers comprehensive upgrades in design, intelligent cockpit features, and practical interior space. The brand also unveiled Cai Xukun as its official spokesperson — an automotive industry first for the pop icon.

The exterior design continues Kia's 'Opposites United' Everus philosophy. The front fascia features a vertically textured, wide-surface grille paired with Star-Map LED headlights and a bold, sporty front bumper — enhancing visual impact. Side profiles incorporate bright-silver trim to create a floating roof effect, complemented by flush door handles and low-drag alloy wheels. Dimensions measure 4,460 × 1,830 × 1,640 mm, with a 2,690-mm wheelbase — up 75 mm, 30 mm, and 60 mm respectively over the previous generation.

The rear end also adopts the distinctive Star-Map LED light signature for high recognition. A rear spoiler integrates a concealed rear wiper, while an auto-sensing power tailgate further elevates tech appeal and daily convenience. The trunk offers 483 L of standard capacity, expanding to 1,454 L with the rear seats folded. Twenty mounting slots and four removable multi-functional hooks — distributed across upper and lower edges — support Kia's Add Gear open-source mounting system for versatile cargo solutions.

Inside, three standard color schemes are offered: black-gray, brown-gray, and green-gray; the X-Line variant exclusively features an all-black interior. The front cabin includes a four-spoke multifunction steering wheel and a rotary electronic gear selector. Ahead lies a slim 10-inch digital instrument cluster, while the center console hosts a 27-inch ultra-thin wide-screen display powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip and an integrated AI large language model — enabling natural voice dialogue, AI-assisted image generation, and smart manual search. Native support for HiCar, Apple CarPlay, and Carlink ensures seamless smartphone integration. The infotainment system ships with over 10 built-in games, supporting touch, Bluetooth gamepad, and vehicle hardware inputs (e.g., steering wheel, pedals) for multi-modal interaction.

In terms of equipment, the new model offers power-adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation, front wireless charging, an 8-speaker BOSE audio system, and Level 2 intelligent driving assistance. Two powertrain options are available: a 1.5L engine delivering 115 hp and 144 N·m of torque, mated to a CVT; and a 1.5T unit producing 200 hp and 253 N·m, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
