起亚2027年起将搭载现代全新Pleos智能座舱系统

Kia is about to usher in a major upgrade in intelligent experience. It is reported that starting in 2027, new Kia vehicles will be gradually equipped with Hyundai's newly developed Pleos intelligent cockpit system - a highly integrated in-vehicle platform based on Android Automotive OS, marking the deep collaboration between Kia and Hyundai in their software-defined vehicle strategy.

According to South Korean media outlet ETNews, Hyundai officially launched its software brand "Pleos" last year and plans to deploy the system in over 20 million vehicles by the end of this decade (i.e., before 2030), covering its three major brands: Hyundai , Kia , and Genesis. Currently, Hyundai has already debuted the Pleos system on its new-generation Grandeur model, which is launched in South Korea; later this year, the facelifted Avante (Elantra) and Tucson will also be equipped with it.

As a software platform targeting the global market , Pleos emphasizes smartphone-like interaction logic: supporting application ecosystem expansion, highly customizable interface, and offering options for a 12.9-inch or 14.6-inch central control screen, as well as an optional full LCD instrument panel. Its core components also include Hyundai's self-developed AI voice assistant—Gleo AI. This assistant is built on a large language model and can continuously learn and optimize by combining real-time location, traffic conditions, and user history interactions. It supports natural language commands such as "find nearby restaurants" and "navigate to destination," and can also search for news, sports, and other information online.

In the European market , the IONIQ 3 became the first Hyundai model to feature the Pleos system, and it made its public road debut this month at the Goodwood Festival of Speed . As for Kia, the first models to adopt the system have not yet been officially confirmed, but industry insiders generally expect it to be prioritized for its flagship product line, with the K9 and the all-electric SUV EV9 considered the most likely candidates for the first time.
