New Li L6 Officially Delivered: Priced at ¥249,800, Smart Driving and Range Fully Match L9

On July 20, the new Li L6 officially began user deliveries, with an official price of ¥249,800. As a key addition to Li Auto's mid-to-large-size extended-range SUV lineup, the vehicle is positioned between the L7 and L9 — but several core specifications already align with the all-new 2026 Li L9, earning it industry recognition as the 'compact L9' brought to life.

In exterior design, the new L6 retains Li's family language while further refining its front-end styling toward the L9: the star-ring lighting cluster remains, with the central active grille now separated from the split headlights; the ADB matrix headlights are integrated with the air ducts, and a new auxiliary driving blue indicator light has been added. The roof-mounted LiDAR continues to be standard, enabling voice interaction outside the vehicle. Side-profile features semi-concealed door handles, electric doors for the front row, and standard power-closing rear doors. For the first time across the entire model line, four LiDAR units are deployed — combined with side- and rear-facing perception radars — to deliver full 360° environmental awareness. Dimensions measure 4,935 × 1,960 × 1,735 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm — length increased by just 10 mm over the current model.

The interior sees comprehensive upgrades, adopting the same design philosophy as the 2026 Li L9: three dual-tone color options — Snowfield White, Wilderness Brown, and Amber Orange — are offered. Traditional HVAC vents are eliminated; instead, door panels feature sculptural contours paired with ambient lighting and metallic speaker grilles. The steering wheel adopts a minimalist design — no display screen — and features more intuitive button placement. The center console removes cup holders, improving overall storage organization. Cabin hardware receives a major leap forward: a 29-inch 6K integrated panoramic display supports multi-mode switching for driver and front passenger; powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 chip, CPU/GPU/NPU performance improves by 1.8×, 2.6×, and 3.5× respectively; standard equipment includes a 19-speaker Platinum audio system and an 8-megapixel digital rearview mirror.

Intelligent driving is the highlight upgrade: the Mach M100 chip — developed in-house by Li (5 nm process, base computing power of 1,280 TOPS) — is standard across all trims, delivering the same generation and chip as the L9. Customers may optionally equip the dual-M100 chip package (¥30,000), boosting peak computing power to 2,560 TOPS. Leveraging the Mach VLA Driver large model, decision-chain latency is compressed to just 240 ms, adding new scenario functions such as external embodied welcome and automatic tailgate opening/closing.

The powertrain retains the 1.5T extended-range architecture, with front/rear dual motors delivering standard AWD and a combined output of 300 kW — enabling 0–100 km/h acceleration in 5.4 seconds and raising top speed to 200 km/h. The battery is upgraded to a high-capacity 51 kWh unit, delivering a CLTC all-electric range of 300 km (+88 km), and a total combined range of 1,250 km. DC fast charging from 20% to 80% takes only 12 minutes; ultra-fast-charging cycle life reaches 3,000 cycles — retaining over 80% battery health after an equivalent 500,000 km. Underpinning the vehicle is an all-aluminum double-wishbone front and five-link rear suspension, complemented by dual-valve continuously variable damping shock absorbers — optimizing both ride comfort and handling responsiveness.
