Yunque

Guihang Youngman Lotus Automobile Co., Ltd. originated from the Guizhou Aviation Industry Group under the AVIC Group. It began car manufacturing in the early 1990s and formed a joint venture with Japan's Fuji Heavy Industries in 1998 to produce Yunque-branded microcars. It is one of China's eight earliest designated car production bases. The company integrates R&D, manufacturing, and sales, and has complete automobile manufacturing capabilities with stamping, welding, painting, and final assembly, with an annual capacity of 30,000 vehicles. In November 2015, it underwent a strategic reorganization and is now jointly funded by Guizhou Anyuan New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. (56%) and Anshun Industrial Investment Co., Ltd. (44%). In 2018, a new factory was built on the original site, covering a total area of 443 mu (including 90 mu of the old site), with a design capacity of 80,000 units annually in double-shift production. The Yunque Q1 was launched in March 2018.
