Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., established on January 8, 1997, is headquartered in Wuhu, Anhui Province. Its chairman and general manager is Yin Tongyue. Chery's products span passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and micro cars. In 2016, it ranked 450th in the 'China Top 500 Enterprises' list. In 2019, it ranked 90th among the 'Top 100 Belt and Road Chinese Enterprises.' In 2020, it topped Anhui Province’s invention patent rankings. Chery Group operates four major brands: Chery, Jetour, Exeed, and iCAR. On March 4, 2024, all four brands announced lifetime warranties for all new and used vehicles—an industry first for a full brand lineup.
