Jishi Auto is a new energy vehicle brand under Shanghai Luoke Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., with manufacturing contracted to Beijing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. In January 2021, Chang Jing and Yan Feng (formerly with SAIC and WM Motor) co-founded Luoke Intelligent, headquartered in Shanghai. Chang Jing serves as chairman and Yan Feng as CEO. On August 17, 2023, Weiqiao Pioneering Group and Luoke Intelligent jointly announced a strategic cooperation agreement for the production of Jishi vehicles, with manufacturing handled by Beijing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. On August 18, Jishi Auto launched a national roadshow for its new model. Test drives in nine cities across China began in October, with reservations available through the official app and mini-program. On August 22, Jishi Auto officially unveiled its intelligent mid-to-large luxury SUV: the Jishi 01, with the brand slogan “Love Family, Love Outdoors, Love Every Journey.” On September 22, Weiqiao Group invested $1 billion in Luoke Intelligent (Jishi Auto). On November 25, 2023, Jishi 01 began nationwide deliveries to its first batch of owners.
