OPEL, known as '欧宝' in mainland China and '欧普' in Taiwan, is a German automaker and a subsidiary of General Motors (GM), serving as GM's gateway to Europe. Founded by Adam Opel over a century ago, OPEL entered the Chinese market in 1993 but has since ceased operations there.
