SEAT
SEAT is the largest car manufacturer in Spain, founded in 1950 in Barcelona. Now a subsidiary of the German Volkswagen Group, SEAT originally produced Fiat models and once held 60% of the Spanish car market. However, its market share dropped to 33% in the 1970s due to financial losses. In 1983, Volkswagen acquired a majority stake in SEAT, co-managing the company with the Spanish government. With VW's financial and technological support, SEAT launched a series of sibling models to VW cars, improving its operations. In 2012, SEAT unveiled a new brand logo at the Paris Motor Show, highlighting values such as design, driving dynamics, youthful attitude, energy efficiency, trustworthiness, and approachability.
