Livan Auto was officially registered on January 24, 2022, as a joint venture between Geely Holding and Lifan Technology. As a promoter of battery-swapping mobility, Livan aims to build a user-centric ecosystem for swappable electric cars. Through upgrades in vehicle, station, and cloud-based technologies and continuous business model innovation, it addresses key pain points in the EV market. In June 2022, three swappable models—Livan 7, Livan 9, and Maple 80v PRO—made their offline debut at the Chongqing Auto Show.
