Hebei ZX Auto Manufacturing Co., Ltd., originally founded in 1949 as a military arsenal under the Chinese People's Liberation Army, became a joint venture in December 1999 with total assets of 1.895 billion RMB. ZX Auto is the birthplace of China's first domestically produced pickup truck with independent intellectual property rights. It is a leading manufacturer of multi-purpose vehicles and a national-level high-tech enterprise, as well as a designated vehicle export base. The company operates three main production bases (Hebei ZX, Yichang ZX, and overseas KD factories) and one R&D center. Its main products include pickups and SUVs, with over 20 models offering multiple configurations and holding numerous national patents.
