Yema
Yema Auto was founded in the late 1980s. In May 1994, several local automakers in Chengdu merged to form Sichuan Automobile Industry Group. In 2002, the group was acquired by Sichuan Fulin Industrial Group, one of China's top 500 private enterprises. It was then designated a key automotive project under Chengdu’s 11th Five-Year Plan. In 2006, it was renamed Sichuan Auto Industry Group Co., Ltd., and later in 2011 restructured into a joint-stock company. In August 2014, Yema launched a new logo, reflecting its ambition to become a top-tier auto brand.
