BAW
Beijing Automotive Works (BAW), established in 1958, is one of the oldest automotive enterprises in China. In its early days, it was renowned for military off-road vehicles, with its representative work-BJ212, long serving as a landmark model for both the military and civilian markets in China. The brand positioning is inclined towards practical commercial vehicles and off-road vehicles. It retains the advantages of traditional fuel vehicles while attempting an electric transformation. In recent years, it has gradually expanded into the passenger car market, launching products such as the Warrior series of pickup trucks and new energy mini vehicles (such as Yuanbao). But its market influence is concentrated among cost-effective users and niche off-road enthusiasts, forming a differentiated layout from other brands under BAIC Group.
